We want to welcome Regina Thompson and Andrew Walker  will be presenting an “Update of Newberg Dundee Bypass and a Retrospective of Where We Have Been”.

Regina Thompson SR/WA has been in the right of way field for almost 28 years with both the Oregon Department of Transportation and Universal Field Services.  Regina has truly found a home and a passion in the Right of Way industry and is thankful for all those she has learned from and worked with.  She has been a past president of Chapter 3 IRWA and is currently working as a Senior RW Agent in Region 2. In addition to the Newberg-Dundee Bypass, Regina oversees other STIP projects, local government oversight and consultant projects.   Prior to joining right of way she worked as an Engineering Specialist at ODOT, Typewriter salesperson and wore the Chucky Cheese Costume with pride.  She looks forward to another 10 years in the field.

Andrew Walker developed an interest in engineering and infrastructure at a young age. He received his bachelors and masters in civil engineering at Oregon State University and has a diverse background having worked on institutional, school and bridge designs/retrofits, water system design/construction, and community  organizational response development. After working in the private sector and enlisting to become an Engineer Officer (currently serves as a Reserve Officer at Camp Withycombe) he now works at ODOT as a Resident Engineer for consultant projects and is currently managing a variety of projects including bridge seismic retrofits, urban highway improvements, and rural highway design and construction.
